  • Economics of Money and Banking
  • Islamic Banking and Finance
  • International Economics

The Department of Economics boasts of invaluable experience and professionalism of faculty members under the mentorship of Professor Mohamed Said Samatar (PhD), a Senior Consultant and well-known economist, formerly of the Somali National University in Mogadishu. Professor Samatar also works as a Senior Consultant for many government departments and international NGOs in Somalia and elsewhere.
